Midway Media are full-time Midlands based professional videographers from Swadlincote in South Derbyshire who specialise in filming weddings and events throughout the year.
We are a very friendly and relaxed husband and wife team who are conveniently located to film weddings and events across the midlands area in counties such as Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Northants, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, South Yorkshire, Warwickshire, the West Midlands and Worcestershire. We are able, and often do film weddings and events in locations outside the midlands area offering nationwide coverage. All that we ask for bookings which are more than a reasonable travelling distance from us is that any additional travel and accommodation expenses we may incur are covered by you at cost.

Cinematic & Creative Filming Style
A picture can only tell part of the story but a video with sound and emotions tells it all.
This year we were lucky enough to be nominated as finalists in the best wedding videographer section of the prestigeous Wedding Ideas Awards and we were also regional winners for the East Midlands in the best wedding videographer section of the 2013 Wedding Industry Awards. We both film throughout the day, providing one male and one female videographer for all our wedding packages which offer stylish multi-angle shots and make use of the latest professional equipment such as our Steadicam Merlin, Glidecam and Glidetrack. The Merlin & Glidecam allow us to capture classy smooth shots over uneven terrain like stairs or inclines, and produces epic scenes with that "floating-in-air" look. The Glidetrack is a portable dolly track system which can be very effective in adding a cinematic look to your video or presentation. Using 2 experienced video camera operators allows us to capture so much more than other single camera videography companies at no extra cost and having a female videographer has many benefits particularly for bridal preparations and Asian weddings. We take great pride in our work, always being creative in both our filming and editing styles in order to put together modern & stylish productions.

We will always do our best to film the day's events in an unobtrusive manner where hopefully you'll hardly even notice us there. We will endeavour to capture all of the day's special moments in a way that cannot be done by still photography alone, carefully planning our movements following a pre-wedding consultation with you to ensure that nothing important is missed
We now use up to 7 high definition DSLR cameras to film your day, each making use of a combination of our Canon 5D MKIII, Canon 7D, Canon 600D & Canon 550D cameras with a range of top quality EOS lenses. The audio is recorded onto multiple devices with high performance RØDE, Sennheiser, Olympus, Yamaha & Zoom sound recording equipment to capture every moment in the best possible quality. This is then all put together onto DVD or the medium of your choice using a professional video editing suite. We are able to cover many types of weddings including church ceremonies, civil ceremonies, civil partnerships, Chinese, Jewish, Turkish, Greek and Asian weddings or engagement celebrations.
