The hotel itself boasts an 18 hole championship golf course, fitness centre and health and beauty spa and is rated as 4 star accommodation set in 200 acres of countryside. The hotel in appearance is that of an old manor house on the outside that boasts all modern facilities inside to meet the needs of its clientele. It has a nice patio area together with pagoda, which is ideal for photographs and is well kept which then extends onto a large lawned area (great too for group photographs) and where people can sit out and relax and watch the golfers in the distance, should they wish too! There are 2 restaurants and a separate bar for guests to enjoy the tranquil surroundings and it is licenced to carry out civil and civil partnership ceremonies in the following suites:
The Hawksworth Suite with its own patio area and private bar which can seat up to 120 daytime guests but does have the capacity to hold up to 200 guests for an evening reception;
The Bronte Suite overlooks the extensive gardens which can accommodate up to 70 daytime guests and can accommodate up to 100 guests for an evening reception;
The Thompson Suite which overlooks the gardens and Aire Valley . The room can accommodate up to 36 daytime guests only.
From our own experience filming at Marriott Hollins Hall Hotel the general appearance was very good, lovely hotel that is tastefully decorated with friendly and helpful staff. The wedding co-ordinator on the day was very hands on to ensure that the wedding day went according to plan.
