Kerry & Richard - 25th August 2010

The Wedding

Kerry & Richard's wedding ceremony took place at Nether Heage Methodist Church , a small parish village in Derbyshire. The groomsmen wore grey morning suits complimented with pink waistcoats and cravats. Kerry wore a beautiful a-line line dress in ivory satin with a chapel length train embellished with a crystal and diamante detail with a corset style laced back. The wedding ceremony was carried out by Rev'd Stuart Radford. Once married the couple were then driven to the reception venue at Shottle Hall, a grand manor house in Derbyshire. Once the happy couple arrived the photographer took the opportunity to make the most of the stunning grounds the venue has to offer. The theme of the day was butterflies with each table named after a particular breed. Every table was beautifully decorated with cerise gerberas and pink roses. The wedding cake was a layered 3 tier round cake complimented with bright green ribbon around each layer adorned with cerise pink iced gerbera flowers together with pink and white butterflies.

Shottle Hall is a very stylish venue, set in the heart of the countryside that can cater for pretty much any size of wedding. The gardens and the Pavilion (at the rear of the Coach House Marquee) offer excellent photographic opportunities. The service from what we could see during our time at Shottle Hall was second to none with the staff being friendly, attentive, smart and very helpful. A highly recommendable venue to celebrate in style!
