Kelly & Paul - 23rd July 2010

The Wedding

Kelly and Paul were married at St Alphege Church in Solihull . St Alphege as it is today, dates back to around the 13th Century and is beautiful inside. Turning now to the bride, Kelly who wore a stunning dress made by Hollywood Dreams “Phillipa” in ivory and she looked absolutely breathtaking, I had spent the morning with her and her lovely family during the bridal preparations, throughout the morning she kept extremely calm. Paul wore grey tails with silver cravat with the bridesmaid wearing stunning Cadbury purple dresses. Paul had arrived at church with his best men, in a Bentley Flying Spur with Kelly arriving in style in a Beauford together with her father. The ceremony carried out by Father Patrick was very emotional to say the least.

Registers signed and now legally married, photographs were taken before the couple departed to their reception venue, Moxhull Hall, Wishaw.

The Venue

Moxhull Hall is situated in the small village of Wishaw , near Sutton Coldfield and is just a few miles from the DeVere Belfry Hotel and Golf Club. Moxhull Hall is licenced to conduct civil ceremonies and partnerships. Ceremonies can be carried out in either in the oak panelled Grove Room which can seat 60 guests in total or the Gazebo situated in Calliope's Garden, overlooking the main gardens.

The main gardens provide an excellent backdrop for photographs and are very well cared for with many stunning locations within the gardens for romantic photographs. The present proprietors and their team are very hands on ensuring that every detail is right and that the couple's day goes without any hitches or delays. The food which we have had the privilege of tasting personally and we can honestly say it's scrumptious! The marquee provides plenty of seating for up to 160 guests for the wedding breakfast and boasts a good sized dance floor for the evening celebrations. The Grove Room can seat up to 42 guests for a wedding breakfast and is ideally suited to the smaller intimate wedding party.

Moxhull Hall is a stunning venue and highly recommended. Kelly & Paul's wedding highlights will be available online soon.
