Michelle & Mike - 30th July 2010

The Wedding

Michelle and Mike were married at St Peter's Church, Anlaby, Hull. The church iitself was opened during 1885 after the Chapel of Ease in the parish of St Andrew's, Kirkella had to be demolished in 1883 after being deemed unsafe. . Both the bride and groomsmen arrived to church in a cream Daimler. Michelle looked beautiful in her full a-line ivory wedding dress with a lace bodice with jewel neckline delicately beaded with the skirt overlayed with tulle and a cathedral train. Michelle complimented her look with asilver diamante tiara and red rose posey. Mike wore a grey suit complimented with a silver neck tie and jacquard waistcoat. The ceremony was carried out by Rev'd Neal Barnes. The ceremony was very personal to Michelle and Mike as they are regular parishioners at this lovely church so the vicar knew the couple very well and it was a privileged to film their wedding. Arriving at the venue the couple had plenty of photos taken at the main entrance and in the gardens once the rain had eased off. As for the wedding cake, Michelle and Mike had chosen a 3 tiered cake finished off with a personalised bride and groom cake topper. Michelle and Mike also had personalised cake decorations of their two sons. The colours of the day were red with balloon displays for table decorations and the couple chose a buffet which was served in the hotel's conservatory overlooking the gardens.
