Vicky & Chris - 27th August 2010

The Wedding

Vicky and Chris's wedding ceremony and reception were held at Weston Hall, near Stafford. Chris and Vicky told us that as soon as they came to look at Weston Hall, only their second venue viewing, that they immediately fell in love with the place and booked it straight away.

The day was sunny and bright with a little breeze blowing. Vicky wore a one piece traditional style ivory aline dress by designer Forever Yours. The dress had crystal detailing front and back with a laced corseted style bodice, ruched waist and a cathedral train. She complimented her look with a red and clear crystal tiara, gold and red crystal necklace and a mid length veil. Vicky, a hairdresser by trade did her own hair and kept her make up minimal to create a more natural look. Chris and his groomsmen all wore black morning suits with red waistcoats and neck ties finishing their look with an ivory rose buttonhole. Vicky's flowers were made up of white lilies and red roses with each rose decorated with a diamante centre. The couple's chosen table decor was tall clear glass vases with white lilies complimented with a selection of balloon decor behind the top table. Vicky and Chris' 3 tiered wedding cake was made by a friend of a friend. The cake topper was a selection of burgundy and cream silk flowers held in place by a crystal glass water lily shaped holder.

Vicky and Chris had decided that the evening reception should be a wedding cheese fest. All in all a good time was had by the guests from what we could see as we filmed until quite late into the evening, with guests participating in the Conga, Hokey Cokey, Macarena and lots, lots more!
